The Immigration Service (USCIS) today announced through a national telephone conference that the forms and instructions for the program for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will be available as of today, August 14, 2012. 

USCIS indicated that if additional information or documentation is needed during the application process, the applicant may be called to appear for an interview. USCIS also expanded on the educational requirement to include not only junior high school and high school, but also enrollment in education, literary, or vocational programs, including GED programs funded by government grants, job training or job placement program which has “demonstrated effectiveness”.
